Calhoun Brass Music

 

Our quintet plays a wide variety of music that includes classic music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras; jazz and dixie music; showtunes and Broadway; and arrangement of popular music.  We play the music of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.  We play the music of Scott Joplin.  We play music from “West Side Story” and “Les Miserables”.  We play the music of Chicago.  And we play the great arrangements of the Canadian Brass.  Our book contains over 150 songs.  This includes compositions and arrangements by Calhoun members Gus Lindquist and Eric Songer and our resident arranger/first-call trumpet sub Ken Ross.
